About the role
As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns across assigned areas. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and promptly communicate security-related concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

- Wednesday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Sunday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
