Security Officer Armed Incident Response Driver

Position Type: Part‑Time

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of residential buildings, parking areas, common areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the property, verify authorized entry, and document security‑related observations, incidents, and patrol activity.
• Maintain a professional presence while communicating clearly with residents, visitors, management, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Armed Guard Card or License.
• Valid driver’s license (required for driving positions).
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Compliance with state and/or local licensing requirements.
