$30.00 / Hour
Job Schedule
Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to shoppers and store personnel while following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response protocols.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the sales floor, entrances, receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter theft, trespassing, and other prohibited activity.
- Respond calmly to incidents such as suspected theft, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other critical situations, requesting assistance from store leadership and/or law enforcement when appropriate.
- Maintain required firearm licensing and qualifications, and carry and handle assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws.
- Document and report security-related incidents, suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations using clear and accurate reports.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess an armed guard card/license.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
