Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Route
About the role
Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate judgment and escalating to law enforcement and/or site contacts when needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
- Monitor access points, verify identification and/or credentials, and document security-related concerns, incidents, and daily activities according to site procedures.
- Support order at the location by addressing policy violations, assisting with directions and/or information requests, and communicating clearly with supervisors, staff, and public agency representatives.
Requirements
- An armed guard card and/or license is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
