What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and notifying the appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Maintain readiness for an armed post by handling assigned equipment in accordance with post instructions, company policies, and applicable laws while supporting security-related operations at the location.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
