What You'll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence within post orders and applicable guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Maintain access control, verify authorized entry, and document daily activities, observations, and/or incident information according to site protocols.
• Communicate with site contacts, visitors, employees, and/or first responders regarding security-related matters and help support orderly operations during routine and emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess 1+ years of law enforcement experience, 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, and/or 3+ years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma/GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
