What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public-service agencies as directed by site procedures.
- Congduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify authorization for entry, observe activity within assigned areas, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations through required channels.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, access-control activity, and security-related observations.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of armed security-related experience, law enforcement experience, or military experience.
- At least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
- Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Licensing Requirements
