About the Role

As an Armed Patrol Driver Operations Security Officer in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Commercial Real Estate. You will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns professionally. This role requires an armed guard card and a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service while representing Allied Universal’s values: agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, residents, visitors, and property stakeholders by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable protocols and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of commercial properties, surrounding streets, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
  • Observe and report suspicious activity, property damage, access concerns, and other security-related conditions to appropriate personnel and/or public agencies.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and communication with dispatch, supervisors, property representatives, and law enforcement as required.

Requirements

  • Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$16.00 per hour.

Schedule

  • Full Time
  • Day shift: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday through Thursday
