Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Operations

About the role

As an Armed Patrol Driver Operations Security Officer in Donna, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls and more. This part-time role allows you to build a flexible schedule using our Claim a Shift platform. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, respond to security concerns, and provide outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate emergency personnel and/or site leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, potential policy violations, or hazards, reporting observations according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Requirements

• Valid armed guard card or license.
• Valid Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$14.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Friday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
