Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver

About the Role

As a Security Officer Armed Tactical Patrol Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is an armed and driving post requiring professionalism, sound judgment, and integrity. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professional communication with staff, visitors, and/or customers.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to document observations and report security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior to site leadership.
• Support access control, incident documentation, and coordination with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when appropriate.

Requirements

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour
• Position Type: Full Time
• Schedule: Day Time, Monday 02:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Friday 02:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Saturday 02:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Sunday 02:00 PM – 11:30 PM
