What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local law enforcement when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify suspicious behavior or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and valuable merchandise locations to help to deter theft, trespassing, and/or other policy violations while maintaining a professional presence.
• Perform assigned armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site procedures, including maintaining situational awareness, following reporting protocols, and supporting loss prevention and other security-related needs.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
