Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Spearman, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform vehicle patrols in accordance with driver policy requirements, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including operational areas, access points, and perimeter zones, helping to deter unauthorized activity and unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or access permissions, and support security-related screening practices in accordance with site requirements.
• Support incident response and preparedness efforts by maintaining awareness of potential hazards common to an industrial chemical location and following post orders during escalated events.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Skills

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and problem-solve in emergencies.
• Knowledge of security procedures and location-specific policies.
