Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires an armed guard card or license and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location
• Respond to incidents, alarms, outages, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of utility facilities, access points, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity
• Monitor access to restricted operational areas, verify authorization as required, and report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, and policy violations to appropriate personnel
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and responses accurately in required reports and logs

Requirements

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required
• An armed guard card or license is required
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred

$18.25 / Hour

Full Time. DayTime: Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Thu 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
