Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol Driver

About the role

As an Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Monroe, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as financial institutions. This part-time role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you using our Claim a Shift platform. The position requires an armed guard card or license and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Perform armed patrol duties through assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and report unusual activity, hazards, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports and maintain accurate activity logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Valid driver’s license required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$16.50 per hour.

Schedule

• Thursday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Friday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
