Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store team members while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with store leadership and emergency responders as needed
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter locations, while working in varying conditions
• Monitor for suspicious activity, theft-related concerns, and policy violations; document observations and report incidents according to site procedures
• Maintain required firearms qualifications and follow applicable laws, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures related to armed assignments

Requirements

• An Armed Guard Card or License is required
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
• Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
