What You'll Do
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence within post orders and applicable guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and/or point-of-sale zones to help support loss prevention efforts, report suspicious behavior, and document security-related incidents.
- Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and/or communication with site contacts and local responders as needed, while maintaining a professional presence during daily operations.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
