Security Officer Armed - Full Time

About the role

As a Security Officer Armed - Full Time in Bennettsville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, team-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and applicable laws.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor visitor, employee, and vehicle access; document observations and incidents; and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Carry assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, site requirements, and applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
