Security Officer - Armed Full Time
About the role
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Unit in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with supervisors and local authorities as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions or hazards.
- Maintain readiness for an armed patrol assignment by following all post orders, handling issued equipment in accordance with policy, and supporting incident response with sound judgment and professionalism.
Requirements
- Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
- A valid firearms permit is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
