Security Officer Armed Driver Route Patrol

About the Role

As an Armed Security Officer Driver Route Patrol in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Government. This part-time role offers flexibility and the opportunity to build a schedule that works for you using our Claim a Shift platform. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents, and respond to evolving situations with clear communication and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to facility staff, visitors, and authorized individuals while carrying out armed security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, following post orders and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorization, and document visitor, vehicle, and incident information according to site procedures.
• Maintain readiness of assigned equipment and communicate observations, hazards, and unusual activity to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Hold a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$21.50 per hour.

Schedule

• Friday: 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM
• Saturday: 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM
