Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine mobile and on-foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is an armed and driving post. In our agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will put people first, work collaboratively, and act with integrity every day.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including requesting assistance when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and/or customer interactions for unusual behavior, policy violations, or other security-related concerns, and report observations as needed.
• Document incidents, patrol activity, and/or response actions in required reports while communicating relevant information to site contacts, supervisors, and/or local responders.

Requirements

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour
• Position Type: Part Time
• Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 02:45 PM - 11:30 PM, Wed 06:00 AM - 02:45 PM, Fri 12:00 PM - 09:00 PM
