Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an armed, driving patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining awareness of surroundings.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, verify authorized access when required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or policy violations.
• Work with site leadership, employees, visitors, and/or local responders during emergencies, medical events, alarms, and other security-related situations.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
