As a Security Officer Armed Driver Incident Management in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Position Type: Full Time, Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour, Job Schedule: DayTime, Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, and designated areas to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements, assisting with authorized entry procedures and maintaining accurate records as needed.
Requirements
- Have at least 3 years of experience as a Military Police Officer, Corrections Officer, or Armed Security Officer, or be a certified law enforcement graduate.
- Type at least 40 words per minute.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
