About the role

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Incident Response in Renton, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Aero/Defense. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving position combines strong customer service, clear communication, and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized entry and exit in accordance with site-specific requirements.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain communication with site leadership, emergency responders, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents and security-related observations.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • A concealed carry weapons permit.
  • At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

  • Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Thursday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Friday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
