About the role
As a Security Officer Armed Driver Incident Response in Renton, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Aero/Defense. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving position combines strong customer service, clear communication, and sound judgment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized entry and exit in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain communication with site leadership, emergency responders, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents and security-related observations.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience.
- A concealed carry weapons permit.
- At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
