About the role
As a Security Officer Armed Driver Incident Response in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorized entry, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to site leadership and/or law enforcement as appropriate.
- Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain required activity logs in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal standards.
Requirements
- Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
- Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
