About the role

As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers and team members. This driving post combines customer service, clear communication, and professional response to security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to store customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, critical situations, and customer or employee concerns in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points, deliveries, and restricted areas; report unusual conditions, policy violations, and potential hazards according to site procedures.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a Level III armed certification in Texas.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$14.00 / Hour

Schedule

  • Friday: 02:00 PM - 11:30 PM
  • Saturday: 02:00 PM - 11:30 PM
  • Sunday: 02:00 PM - 11:30 PM
