Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a residential location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to property management and/or public emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, check credentials when required, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific post orders.
• Prepare clear reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant security-related information to supervisors and/or designated property contacts.

Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
