Security Officer - Allen Hospital - Full Time - Days
About the Role
At NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Security Officers do more than patrol facilities and campuses – they take part in amazing stories. Officers serve and inspire with acts of service and integrity, ensuring a safe environment for care. This role requires a visible front-line security presence, protecting patients, visitors, employees, and property across medical and academic campuses.
Responsibilities
- Maintain access control in assigned areas.
- Respond to emergency situations.
- Help maintain a lawful environment for lifesaving care.
Requirements
- Current NYS Security Guard License.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 90 days of starting the role.
- Availability for Saturday, Sunday, and holiday coverage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, military experience, or 2 years of collegiate coursework in criminal justice or a related field.
- Prior work experience as a Security Guard.
- Valid Driver's License.

Salary Range: $30.02/Hourly
