About the role

Join Allied Universal in a healthcare location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Requirements

  • Must be willing to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals when required.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

  • Ability to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
  • Ability to restrain individuals when required.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet.
