Security Officer Act 235 Certified Full Time

About the role

Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a government location serving military and veteran communities. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of government facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident documentation.
• Absorb and assist with the protection of government property and support a professional, orderly environment for military and veterans services personnel and visitors.

Requirements

• Possess an Act 235 qualification in Pennsylvania.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
