Security Officer - Full Time

About the Role

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Oshkosh, WI, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while working with integrity and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, office spaces, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and contractors, and reporting unauthorized entry attempts according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and completing required reports.
• Observe and report security-related concerns, equipment issues, property damage, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Note: At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Pay

$17.48 per hour.
