About the role

A Allied Universal® Security Officer Access Specialist in Bay Minette, AL, serves and safeguards clients in manufacturing and industrial settings. The role involves providing customer service, monitoring access points, responding to incidents, conducting patrols, and supporting site operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Maintain a visible presence, conduct regular and random patrols, and report unusual activity or access concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, document security-related details, and communicate with site leadership and emergency personnel as needed.
• Verify credentials, process visitors and deliveries, and support site operations by helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Follow Allied Universal post orders and client-directed procedures.

Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen.
• Licenses may be required based on state and local laws.
• A valid driver's license may be required for driving positions.
