Security Officer Access Specialist

As a Security Officer Access Specialist in Harrington, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and document access activity to help support security-related operations and site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper communication channels when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, lobby areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and/or site issues.

Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
• Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.

Skills

• Guard card and/or license.
• Access control and/or badge experience.
• Computer or tablet proficiency.
• Customer service skills.
