As a Security Officer Access Point Specialist in New Castle, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document access activity according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by maintaining awareness of people, property, and security-related conditions at the location.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
