Access Point Security Officer

About the role

As a Security Officer Access Point in WEST POINT, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer at an automotive location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, visitor credentials, delivery documentation, and authorization for personnel and vehicles entering or leaving the property.
• Monitor entry points, gates, and access-control systems; maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting unusual activity, access concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
