Security Officer Access Point Driver
About the role
Join Allied Universal at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location as an Access Control Officer. In this driving post, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site access requirements.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or emergency contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or unusual conditions.
- Support security-related operations at an industrial chemical location by helping to control access to sensitive areas, following established protocols, and maintaining accurate logs and incident documentation.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, or at least 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience, or at least 3 years of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- Pre-Employment Requirements (Contractual): 1+ Years' Law Enforcement Experience OR 2+ Years' Security Supervisor/Manager Experience OR 3+ Years' Security Experience (C108)
