Security Officer Access Driver

About the role

A Allied Universal® Security Officer Access Driver in Camilla, GA, serves and safeguards clients in various industries such as Food/Beverage. This role offers flexibility with a Part-Time schedule and the opportunity to explore new roles through the Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity.
• Maintain security by monitoring entrances, gates, and restricted areas, screening authorized personnel and/or visitors, and reporting unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and problem-solvily, supporting emergency response activities and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses required are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

• Problem-solving abilities.
• Computer literacy (preferred).
