Security Officer Access Driver

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying entry authorization, and supporting security-related protocols for the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, check identification and/or credentials, maintain visitor and delivery logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to the facility, yard, and restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, loading and unloading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to observe conditions and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Support truck gate and dock access activities by directing authorized traffic, documenting arrivals and departures, and following post orders for shipments, visitors, and after-hours access.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
