Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. In this customer-facing role, you will support a welcoming environment through strong communication and teamwork while reflecting our values of reliability, integrity, innovation, and a people-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor access points and verify employee, visitor, and vendor credentials, helping to deter unauthorized entry and support authorized site access.
• Document visitor arrivals, deliveries, and/or contractor activity, and report unusual incidents or concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and communication protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around entry areas, the business, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• This position is primarily a driving post.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

• Sat: 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM
• Sun: 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM
