What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, vendors, and/or employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, receiving areas, loading zones, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting maintenance and/or security-related issues.
- Maintain logs of visitors, deliveries, and/or vehicle activity while supporting orderly traffic flow and following post instructions for access control operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
