What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, check identification, and document visitor, vendor, and driver activity in accordance with site policies for a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns, unusual activity, and/or policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and trailer or loading zones to help to deter unauthorized access and support security-related operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
