Security Officer Access Management

About the role

As a Security Officer Access Management in Shelby, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, vendors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access logs and documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, building areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Follow food production facility protocols, including visitor requirements, restricted-area controls, and applicable sanitation and personal protective equipment requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
