Security Officer Access Management

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, documenting visitor and contractor activity, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
- Monitor vehicle, trailer, and pedestrian access at gates and loading areas in accordance with site-specific procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, and loading areas; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
