Security Officer Access Management

About the role

As a Security Officer Access Management in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. You will help manage site entry points, monitor activity, and support security-related operations through visible presence and routine patrols. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, check visitor and delivery documentation, and help deter unauthorized access to the location.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, gate areas, trailer yards, loading zones, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Maintain logs of visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity, report unusual conditions, and follow Allied Universal post orders and client-directed procedures.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card and/or license is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
