About the Role
Join Allied Universal at a dynamic technology location where you will monitor entry points, manage access control, and conduct routine patrols to help support a secure environment. In this role, you will remain visible, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badging protocols, and security-related policies at a technology-focused location.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials, manage visitor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, data rooms, and other sensitive spaces.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels and supporting emergency response activities when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to doors, gates, access points, and other areas related to facility access and asset protection.
- Document security-related events, access exceptions, and unusual activity, and communicate clearly with site contacts, employees, and/or local responders as appropriate.
Requirements
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- This position is primarily a driving post.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
