About the role

As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, document activity, and conduct routine patrols of assigned areas. Your visible presence and clear communication will help to deter security-related incidents while supporting employees, visitors, and drivers with exceptional service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response protocols at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access by verifying employee, visitor, vendor, and driver credentials and authorizing entry according to site procedures.
• Monitor and document incoming and outgoing vehicles, deliveries, and personnel while maintaining accurate access logs.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, the facility, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.54 / hour

Schedule

• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
