Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will help manage access control, verify credentials, monitor entry points, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. In this role, you will remain visible, communicate clearly, and contribute to a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and a reliable, people-first approach.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, monitoring entry and exit activity, and supporting security-related protocols for the location.
- Control access at entry points by checking identification, visitor logs, badges, and/or delivery information, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted production and operational areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations, unusual activity, and security-related concerns according to site policies.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require follow-up.
- Communicate with site personnel, drivers, and/or management regarding access procedures, shift activity, and incident details while maintaining accurate daily logs and reports.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
