About the Role

As a Security Officer Access Control Visitor Registration in Lake Worth, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries, primarily residential. This part-time role offers flexibility with the opportunity to build a schedule that works for you through our Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor entry points, verify authorized access, and maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for residents, guests, deliveries, vendors, and contractors entering the residential community.
• Maintain visitor, vendor, and delivery records and communicate access-related information to appropriate site personnel.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations (may be required prior to employment).
• Hold a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
