Security Officer - Access Control

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Surveillance Security Officer in Pflugerville, Texas. This role is ideal for individuals with sharp observation skills and a keen eye for detail, monitoring environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses.

Schedule

• Schedule 1: Saturday - Wednesday, 6 AM - 2 PM (40 Hours / Full-Time)
• Schedule 2: Sunday - Thursday, 2 PM - 10 PM (40 Hours / Full-Time)

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $19.11. DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and handle inquiries from the public and clients
• Conduct screenings of persons upon entry to the facility
• Control, regulate, and direct pedestrian traffic
• Perform desk duties, including telecommunications (telephone, computer, radio)
• Prepare clear, accurate, and complete reports on all activities as required
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols when warranted
• Control access and ensure only authorized personnel enter the site
• Assist operations management in emergencies

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent (GED)
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus
• Texas security license or the ability to obtain one
• CPR certification or the ability to obtain one
• Valid Driver’s License
• At least 21 years of age or older
