Security Officer - Access Control

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Surveillance Security Officer to serve as a Command Center Security Guard. This role relies on sharp observation skills and attention to detail to monitor environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses.

About the role

As a Security Officer – Command Center, you will identify threats before they escalate by monitoring security systems, documenting incidents, and responding to potential risks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports using a computer or tablet
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Requirements

• Strong computer and technology skills
• 1-2 years of CCTV monitoring or Command Center experience
• 2 years of Access Control and Interior Officer experience
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus
• State license, if required

Schedule

• 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
• 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
• Saturday & Sunday: 16-24 hours

Pay

$17.75 per hour (DailyPay available for GardaWorld employees)
