Security Officer Access Control

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entrances, gates, and credential checkpoints to help control entry and exit, verify authorization, and report unusual or unauthorized activity through appropriate channels.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and supporting site personnel during security-related events.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter, remaining aware of conditions that could impact operations and/or security-related procedures.
• Communicate with supervisors, site contacts, and/or responding personnel regarding visitor processing, delivery access, and incident details while maintaining accurate logs and reports.

Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21 years old for armed roles.
• Licenses and certifications: Guard card and/or license preferred; CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

• Customer service skills.
• Ability to respond calmly to emergencies.
• Attention to detail.
• Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
